A Morning Thanksgiving
ALMIGHTY God, we thank Thee for rest and health; for work to do, and strength to do it; and for all the surroundings of our life that make it desirable and enjoyable. Do Thou raise our thoughts and purify our aspirations. Strengthen our wills, we beseech Thee, on the side of what is right and good, and against what is wrong and evil; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
