Ask the Father to remember the baptismal covenant and Jesus to help in distress.
Historical edition. Historical claims and instructions are preserved as historical context.
O my Father, remember the covenant which Thou hast made with me in Holy Baptism. Remember that Thou art my Father, and that I am Thy child. O Jesus, remember that Thou hast washed and cleansed me with Thy holy blood. To Thee I flee, and pray for help in my distress. O deliver me; quicken me; cause me to rejoice.
