Entrust the soul to the Triune God in hope of resurrection.
Historical edition. Historical claims and instructions are preserved as historical context.
I commend myself, O Triune God, to Thy protection and grace. I commit my dearly-bought soul to Thy care. I die, but I shall rise again. I die, but I shall live again forever in heaven. O Triune God, bring me to my rest, to glory; shorten my pains, sweeten my final hour, comfort me with the inward consolations of Thy Holy Spirit, and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me. I live and I die trusting in the merit of Jesus. Let me soon behold Thy countenance amid the eternal joys of heaven.
