MOST merciful Father, give me an evening blessing. Pardon me wherein throughout this day I have offended Thee; accept and bless whatever I have said or done in accordance with Thy will. Prosper whatever has been right and good in my work and purposes; bring to nought whatever is displeasing to Thee. And now, O Lord, as I commit myself to sleep, I would give myself to Thee. Grant me sound and refreshing rest, unscared by evil dreams, undisturbed by faithless worries. And raise me up in the morning refreshed in body and in mind and made fit for Thy service. Grant me Thy peace now and evermore for Thy name's sake. Amen.
