A prayer from the Lutheran Treasury’s family collection.
Historical edition. Historical claims and instructions are preserved as historical context.
CHRIST, Our dear Lord and Savior, grant us grace that we may not fall into temptation, but keep us pure and blameless in the simplicity of the true faith, and deliver us from all evil through a happy departure from this vale of tears, from the kingdom of Satan and the wicked world. To Thee be thanks and praise, together with the Father and the Holy Ghost forever. Amen.
