Prayers While Others Communicate
A historical Anglican devotional form from Thomas Ken’s Winchester manual (1675).
Historical edition. Historical claims and instructions are preserved as historical context.
O my God, whom have I in Heaven but Thee, and there is none on Earth I desire, in comparison of Thee.
As the Hart panteth after the Water brooks, so panteth my Soul, after Thee O God!
My Soul is athirst for Thee, O God, my God!
Blessed Saviour, I am Thine, I am wholly Thine, for Thou hast bought me with a Price, with the inestimable price of Thy Own bloud!
Lord suffer not the price of Thy own bloud to perish, and I will always glorifie Thee in my Body, and in my Spirit, which are Thine.
