Prayers During Scripture Reading
A historical Anglican devotional form from Thomas Ken’s Winchester manual (1675).
Historical edition. Historical claims and instructions are preserved as historical context.
Lord give me grace to obey this command; Or,
Lord deliver me from this sin, or this judgment; Or,
Lord I relie on this good promise; Or,
Glory be to Thee, O Lord, for this mercy; Or,
Lord I believe and adore this mystery.
