Thanksgiving
O LORD God, our Heavenly Father, we thank Thee that Thou hast called us to the knowledge of Thy grace, and faith in Thee. Increase this knowledge, and confirm this faith in us ever more. We thank Thee for all those who are called by Thy name in all parts of the world, praying Thee that they may steadfastly walk in the way that leadeth to eternal life. We thank Thee for all Thy servants departed this life in Thy faith and fear, beseeching Thee to give us grace so to follow their good examples, that with them we may be made partakers of Thy heavenly kingdom. Grant this, O Father, for Jesus Christ’s sake, our only Mediator and Advocate. Amen.
