“Have mercy, O Lord, on all men.”

“Have mercy, O Lord, on all men.”

LOOK in mercy and loving-kindness upon all our families and friends, and all who have been kind to us, all who have asked for our prayers, and all for whom we ought to pray. Let Thy Holy Spirit ever be with them to keep them from all evil, and to guide them to all that is good for their souls and bodies. Look down, most merciful Lord, on all or any who may have done us wrong or spoken evil against us. Turn their hearts, and have mercy upon them and us. Have mercy, O Lord God, upon all who are in trouble or misery, either of mind or body. Let Thy grace and mercy be upon them to keep them from falling from Thee. Look with pity, O Lord, upon all who are sick and in pain. Teach them to feel Thy hand upon them and to turn to Thee. Restore them to health, when it shall please Thee and be best for them; for the sake of Jesus Christ, Who suffered for all. Amen.
