For the King’s Protection
O LORD, Who of Thy favour towards us hast set George, our King, to reign over us, keep him, we beseech Thee, under Thy almighty protection, save and defend him from all his enemies, both ghostly and bodily; give him grace to rule Thy people according to Thy will, that he may here govern to Thy honour and glory, and after this life receive and enjoy the inheritance of Thy heavenly kingdom, in the life and bliss that never shall have an end; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
