Intercession for the King and All in Authority
BLESS, O Lord, we beseech Thee, our King and Parliament, our Judges and Magistrates, our Municipalities and Councils, and all who bear any office and rule in the State. Save our nation from the sins that most easily beset it. Raise the drunkard, lift up the fallen. Lighten up the lot of the poor, open the hearts of the wealthy. Bless every effort for the well-being of our people. Prosper the work of Thy Church, that we may live godly, righteous, and sober lives, to the glory of Thy Holy Name ; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
