For Self-Control
PRESERVE us this day from the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil. Suffer us not to fall into idle habits, and, if diligent in business, suffer not our hearts to be so engrossed, but that we may serve Thee, the Lord ; and grant that Thy presence may be with us, giving us peace in our souls all the day long ; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
