For Perseverance in our Work
GREAT God, Who seest all we do, come and bless all the work we have in hand. Let it be begun, continued, and ended in Thee. Let no weakness of ours hinder its usefulness, but let Thy blessing be with us in our going out and coming in. We wish to glorify Thee, O Lord, and in Thy strength to bear witness of Thy power to save and help all who call earnestly upon Thee. In all human work there must be some failures, let us not be downcast if this is so. By Thy grace may we rise up and try again and again, although success may be difficult, and effort appear but vain. So help us, Lord, in this and all work done for Thee; for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord and Master. Amen.
