For Missionary Schools and Colleges

BLESSED Lord, Who didst condescend to be a learner, even through suffering, that Thou mightest become our Saviour and Teacher, grant unto all those who labour in mission schools and colleges that, being taught by the Holy Spirit, they may be apt to teach and wise to win the souls committed to their care. May the seed of Thy Word sown by them in many young hearts spring up unto eternal life. May the scholars and students seek Thee early and find Thee, their only Saviour and Lord. More especially we pray for all who are being prepared for any ministry in Thy Church, that, as good soldiers of Jesus Christ, as husbandmen that labour, and as workmen that need not to be ashamed, they may learn rightly to divide the Word of Truth among Thy people; and so may there grow up in all lands a generation of holy men and women to bear witness unto Thee, Who art God over all, blessed for ever. Amen.
