For Medical Missions

MERCIFUL Saviour, Who of old time didst have compassion on the multitudes, give to us and to all Thy people the same spirit of love. Teach us to pity and care for all who in heathen and Moslem lands are living without Thee. There are many who are sick and suffering, but have none to heal them. Send forth more of Thy servants to help them. Give skill of hand and eye, strength of patience and heart, and, above all things, Thine own love to every doctor, nurse, and assistant engaged in medical missions. Bless all the means taken to cure or relieve the sufferers. May the heavenly medicine of Thy Gospel bring life and health to many souls. These and all other mercies we beseech Thee to bestow on them and those who minister to them, according to Thy promises and for Thy holy Name’s sake. Amen.
