For Faith in God’s Providence
WHAT will befall us to-day, O God, we know not; we only know that nothing will happen which Thou hast not foreseen, determined, desired, and ordered—that is enough for us. Thee do we worship and adore. We ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, and through His infinite merits, patience in all our sufferings, perfect submission to Thee for all that Thou desirest or permittest, guidance in all that we undertake; for Thine honour and glory we ask it. Amen.
