For all Ministering Servants

For all Ministering Servants

LET Thy blessing, O Lord Jesus, be upon Thy holy Church in all the world. Grant to Thy faithful people grace to live in the fear and love of Thy holy Name, in perfect unity with each other in Thyself, Who art their Head. Bless, O Lord, the work of all who are teaching Thy faith among the people who know Thee not. Give strength to those who preach, and pardon and peace to all who believe through their preaching.

Have mercy, O God, on our King and all who rule over us in Thy Name. Grant them prudence and wisdom, and to Thy people give the spirit of obedience and love, that we may live all our days in peace and plenty, and in Thy holy religion. Let Thy Holy Spirit, O most gracious God, rest upon all Thy ministering servants everywhere. Grant them, by the special help of Thy grace, to be holy in their lives, to be zealous in their work, and to minister for Thy people according to Thy will. These, and all other blessings for all men, we ask in the Name and for the sake of Jesus Christ, our Intercessor and Redeemer. Amen.
