For All in Authority
O GOD, Who gavest Thy Holy Spirit to the elders of Thy people Israel, give wisdom to all bodies of men unto whom Thou hast entrusted the government of Thy servants, especially to the Parliament of our realm, the ministers of the Crown, and the convocations and gatherings of the Church, that they may faithfully execute what Thy Divine Providence has ordained, for the good of the world, and the extension of Thy kingdom ; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
