For a Sense of God’s Presence Everywhere

For a Sense of God’s Presence Everywhere

WE are forced, O Father, to seek Thee daily, and Thou offerest Thyself daily to be found; whensoever we seek we find Thee, in the house, in the fields in the temple, and in the highway. Whatsoever we do, Thou art with us, whether we eat or drink, whether we write or work, read, meditate or pray, Thou art ever with us; wheresoever we are or whatsoever we do, we feel some measure of Thy mercies and love. If we be oppressed, Thou defendest us; if we hunger, Thou feedest us. Whatsoever we need, Thou givest us. O continue this Thy loving-kindness towards us for ever, that all the world may see Thy power, Thy mercy, and Thy love, wherein Thou hast not failed us, that all shall see that Thy mercies endure for ever; through Jesus Christ Thy Son our Lord. Amen.
