For a Sabbath Blessing

WE praise Thee, O Lord our God, for this Thy holy day, Grant that it may be to us a day of rest from worldly toil and care. Refresh our souls with Thy heavenly gifts. Enable us to worship Thee in Thy house of prayer, in spirit, and in truth. Bless the ministers of Thy Church, especially those who labour in this place ; make Thy Word in their mouth powerful to the conversion of sinners, and to the building up of Thy people in the faith of Thy blessed Son. Grant that all who confess Thy holy name may be of one heart, and of one soul, united in one holy bond of truth and peace, of faith and love, and may with one mind and one mouth glorify Thee ; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
