A Prayer for the Moslem World
O GOD, our Father in heaven, hear us as we pray to Thee for the millions of the Moslem world, who know Thee not as their Father, nor understand Thy love to us in Jesus Christ our Lord. Take from them all ignorance, hardness of heart, and contempt of Thy Word, and lead them to Him Who came to be the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We pray Thee for all Christians living in Moslem lands: wilt Thou give them a special measure of Thy grace, that they may show forth the love and gentleness and purity of Christ.
O Lord Jesus, wilt Thou be very near to all who are preaching Thy Name among those who in blindness deny Thee; give them courage and grace to endure, and may Thy love constrain us here at home to bear the burden of Islam in our hearts and prayers, and to give our lives to Thee for Thy glory; and this we ask for Thy dear Name's sake. Amen.
