A Prayer for All Men
O GOD, we pray Thee to have mercy upon all men. Bless Thy holy Church throughout the world. Bless that portion of it to which we belong. Bless all Thy ministering servants. Bless, we beseech Thee, our King, and all in authority under him. We pray also for our own relations, all the absent members of our respective families, our friends and benefactors. We beseech Thee to hear us on behalf of the poor, the sick, and the distressed ; to each and all, grant, O Lord, that which Thou knowest to be best ; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
