A Memorial of the Resurrection
O LORD Jesus Christ, Who on the first day of the week didst rise from the dead, that Thou mightest be our Resurrection and Life; raise us up now from the death of sin, that we may walk in newness of life, and hereafter rise to a happy eternity with Thee. Give us grace to spend this day as a day holy unto Thee, to Thy honour and glory, for the good of others, and our own salvation; for Thy Name’s sake. Amen.
